Le Campus EDF Paris-Saclay

Located on the Plateau de Saclay, near Paris, EDF's R&D Center is the largest research center in the world, bringing together more than 1200 researchers on a single site designed by Francis Soler architecture. Advised by Architecture and Technique we developped customized seating solutions for the 2 auditoria on site. The total seat count for the entire facility is 684.

The small amphi features two curved retractable seating systems with 156 removable seats with writing tablets.

The grand amphit has fixed seats places in curved row and with a capacity of 431 fixed seats, 71 removable seats 24 strapontins. The customized seats incorporate important features such as a writing tablet and ventilation in the pedestals of the seat. We applied various centre to centre positions to have comfortable seating throughout.
