Jezet offers a versatile steel and wood construction system for permanent auditorium seating. This system is perfect for transforming raw concrete spaces into fully adorned settings with fixed seating arrangements. This discipline seamlessly aligns with the holistic approach of theater design. The permanent seating structures are meticulously developed, taking into account all essential elements: acoustics, sightlines, ventilation, lighting, and seat attachments. When combined with telescopic seating, a graceful transition between different seating sections can be achieved. Moreover, this interior design concept can be extended throughout the entire venue, creating a harmonious aesthetic. The end result is an optimally functional auditorium, equipped with all necessary features, while maintaining a cohesive and pleasing visual identity.
Acoustics: Enhancing Auditorium Acoustics through Seat Design
The seats within an auditorium play a significant role in determining the overall acoustical performance of the space. As they represent a substantial surface area of the venue, their design and materials can have a profound impact on sound propagation and quality. Our engineering team possesses extensive data on most of our seats, enabling us to evaluate their acoustical influence within the room effectively. In our pursuit of excellence, we offer the option of conducting specific tests tailored to your project's unique requirements. By performing these specialized tests, we can ensure that the selected seats complement the auditorium's acoustics optimally. Our commitment to achieving the best possible results for your auditorium ensures an immersive and captivating auditory experience for every member of the audience.
Micro-climate and Air Quality: Enhancing Comfort at the Theater.
Creating a captivating theater experience rests heavily on maintaining top-tier air quality. The fixed risers can be ingeniously structured as a plenum, meticulously sealing joints to eliminate any disruptive hissing resulting from uncontrolled air release. Carefully positioned air outlets can be integrated based on recommendations from your HVAC engineer. Our dedicated team collaborates closely with HVAC specialists to fine-tune airflow dynamics, ensuring even and efficient distribution. Through this micro-climate focus, we strive to establish an ambiance where each attendee relishes optimal comfort, indulging in a refreshing atmosphere throughout their visit.
Front of House (FOH) Placement for Optimal Sound Experience.
Jezet envisions a well-integrated solution through the incorporation of a recessed space within the fixed risers to house the technical booth. This area's design allows for either permanent installation or its transformation into additional seating for the audience, with the utilization of lightweight fill-in sections and removable chairs. Additionally, Jezet provides cable ducts to efficiently route power and data, supporting the equipment of the sound and lighting engineer.
Our supporting structure
Typically, we employ robust welded steel frameworks tailored precisely to their applications. We tend to work with small spans, which offers the advantage of minimal vibration transmission and relatively low load distribution to the floor. The steel framework is capped with a deck plate, preferably one with high density for acoustic optimization. The entire structure can be complemented by appropriate floor coverings, step lighting, balustrades, cable trays, and more.
At Jezet, we offer custom chair design solutions for your venue, whether you desire a unique or contemporary look. With a team of highly experienced designers, engineers, and prototype builders, we can create a new model tailored to your specific needs. Starting from an existing model or building from scratch, we ensure that your vision comes to life with unmatched creativity and precision.
With numerous accessories available, you can add functionalities to the seat and create a customized version that perfectly complements the look and feel of your venue. Explore our range of options and feel free to request more information to design a seating solution tailored to your unique requirements.
Introducing our data and power feature
Seats can be equipped with power supply and/or data supply, allowing for seamless integration. Our expert team can provide wiring within the seats and coordinate with local electrical contractors to ensure proper installation. Depending on the riser height, we offer the flexibility to position the power and data outlets for optimal accessibility, enhancing the overall functionality of our seating solutions.
Cupholders offer potential for extra revenue. Our seats can be equipped with cupholders, either fixed to the armrest or the back. They can accommodate various sizes of cups and glasses, which can be coordinated during the design process. However, it's essential to consider that cupholders may impact the aisle space between seat rows.
In most cases, the arm is shared between the two adjacent seats. Upon request, we can deliver two arms or create larger arms. The armrest can be made from various materials or a combination of different materials. Our standard options include upholstered or wooden arms.
For conference rooms, training centers, and lecture halls, writing tablets are essential. Jezet offers various sustainable solutions for this application. When implementing these tables, careful consideration is given to the ergonomics of the audience, ensuring that the tablet does not obstruct the escape route in case of emergencies. Naturally, the type of tablet is related to the type of chair and the dimensions of the venue.
Seat & rownumbers
Customize your seating number system to your preference. Seat numbers can be manufactured in various materials and finishes, including acrylic, braze, stainless steel, and laser-cut options. Choose the character style that complements your in-house signage and theater identity, ensuring a seamless and personalized seating experience for your audience.
Ensuring good air quality is vital for a comfortable theatre experience. Conditioned air can be efficiently distributed through the seat's pedestal via a plenum beneath the theatre. Our team collaborates with HVAC contractors to determine the correct seat location for floor penetration and adjusts the pedestal to meet air supply flow rate requirements, ensuring an optimal and pleasant environment for every audience member.
In auditoria, removing seats is essential for various purposes such as ADA compliance, technical booths, camera positions, additional access, and orchestra pits. Our specially designed Quick Release system allows for easy and quick removal of seats without leaving obstacles on the floor. The robust pedestal ensures solid comfort, and the seats can be carried individually or transported on a dedicated cart for convenient storage elsewhere. Experience unmatched flexibility and convenience with our Quick Release system, simplifying seat removal and reconfiguration to suit your specific needs.
Seats on wheels
Removing seats in auditoria for various purposes (ADA compliance, technical booth, camera positions, additional access, orchestra pit, etc.) requires an easy and quick system that leaves no obstacles on the floor. Our rollable seating system is designed precisely for this purpose. Seats are arranged in sets of 2, 3, or 4 and can be rolled in all directions. When placed on the floor, they can stand on their own, eliminating the need for additional floor anchoring and providing a convenient and comfortable solution for ushers and stage operators to remove and store seats on the same floor level.
