The former Predikheren church has been restored and is now a cultural hotspot in Mechelen. Within the historic church an intimate public performance space has been developed. The retractable system with 90 Granada seats has been beautifully integrated in between the churches columns. When not in use the system is completely covered with a front fascia in wood so the system is tucked away nicely and pleasing to the eye. The space is used for small performances, exhibitions and receptions.
