"The four-genre house in Bern. Opera, drama, ballet and the Bern Symphony Orchestra under one roof." Bühnen Bern stands for an umbrella brand that depicts the house as a unit, but still leaves enough freedom for the individual, artistic concerns of the individual divisions. Bühnen Bern offers more than 30 premieres per season, including world premieres and Swiss premieres, as well as over 20 major concert events with the Bern Symphony Orchestra: a total of around 400 performances, concerts and special events are on the program. Because of the history of the building Jezet started with a 3-D scan of the building. Then we carefully designed the new seats to fit within the classic character of the building and developed the different required seat models according to their purpose. High end materials were used to give a luxurious finish. In total 748 new seats were installed.
