On 14 May 2024, the festive opening of the new Cultuurhuis De Brug took place.

The new cultural and meeting centre designed by Tarra architects is equipped with a box-in-box system with a multipurpose interior: A very user-friendly telescopic grandstand was chosen for the multipurpose hall equipped with the MAS system. With the mechanical-automatic folding system, the seats automatically straighten row by row when leaving the grandstand and when entering the grandstand they also fold automatically row by row. The chair type was applied to create a modern look in conjunction with the bold orange color chosen for the backrests.
