De Singel is a hospitable art house, a meeting place for art without borders in a changing world.

In an unique building and on a multifaceted art site, it connects communities with artists and art practices from all over the world. Building on an interesting artistic past, De Singel invites a wide audience to experience music, theatre, dance and architecture in all their diversity and to discover new, contemporary perspectives. In 2008, we installed 2 retractable seating systems with a total capacity of 2012 seats.

In 2019, the redesign of the red hall also followed. For this, 808 customized Plaza’s were designed, produced and installed.
