Ter Dilft was first recognised as a local cultural centre on 1 January 1977. In 1983 it was recognised as a regional cultural centre. Nine years later, in 1992, the cultural centre was assigned a place in the then highest category. Since the decree of 1 January 2002, Ter Dilft has been recognised in category B on the basis of its operation and history. Ter Dilft guarantees an extensive and diverse artistic offer. You can go there for theatre, dance, music, humour, photography, visual arts, film... Big names but also young and promising talent get a stage. Packed halls and small-scale or intimate performances alternate. Based on our many years of experience, we aim for the wishes of our audience, but we also like to challenge you to try new things. We cherish what is well received by many, but do not shy away from experimentation. Ter Dilft has been a household name in the wider region for years. The offer is aimed at young and old. We are sending a special signal to young people. In September 2021, the renovated theatre of the complex was equipped with 514 new comfortable seats.
