Théâtre de la Ville
The history of the Théâtre de la Ville is a wonderful epic. With references as early as 1860 it is one of the oldest and renowned theatres of France.
During the latest renovations in 2023 of the Théâtre de la Ville, the City of Paris worked with the architects Marie-Agnès Blond and Stéphane Roux, both ambitious and essential to make the Théâtre de la Ville what we believe will be a grand and great theater of the 21st century.
The renewed theatre is a great venue to go and see a large repertoire of dance and hosting concerts of prodigious talents in world music. 975 new seats, type Livio, were installed in a subtile colour patern to give an extra panache to the theatre.
